NFR DROBETA S.A., having its quarter in Drobeta Tr. Severin, offers the following services:

• Automobile and passengers ferry crossing of the Danube, in the Calafat (Romania) -Vidin (Bulgaria) area
• Extraction of ballast products
• Tourism activities
• Maintenance and technical assistance for the ships.

ENDOWMENTS:

Propelled ships:

• 12 pusher boats with capacities between 550 and 2550 tons
• 9 tug boats with capacities between 500 and 1440 PH
• 1 dredge for the extraction of the ballast products
• 1 ferry for the automobile traffic between the Calafat and Vidin port.
• 4 passenger boats (Olanaesti, Govora, Vulcana Bai, Mehedinti) for the short distance traffic, between Calafat and Vidin, between Moldova Veche and Veliko Gradiste and back or for short voyages on the Tulcea - Sulina route and back. Also cruises on the Orsova- Cazane route and back.

Un-propelled ships:

• 54 barges with capacities between 1100 and 1700 tons (14 covered and 40 not covered). These are used for the transportation of goods: cereals, minerals, chemical and ballast products, on the entire navigable sector of Danube, between the Kelheim and Tulcea, Constantza ports.
• 15 pontoons placed in different ports, on the entire Romanian sector of the Danube.
